"My fish and chips was lovely, and the curry sauce was really tasty. Waitress was not very knowledgeable about the what cut of fish was on offer, and looked like I had asked her the most outrageous question. I get they accept well behaved dogs, but by the time we left the small restaurant had 6 large dogs?? Is that hygienic?? Sadly I wont return."

"The fish and chips were awesome ( no cod ) . We got take out ...... I'm unsure if the waitress / assistant was having a bad day but she really didn't seem to want to be there , or to talk , or to smile ....same with the Frier . It was a Monday lunchtime .... So maybe they'd had an amazing weekend of living , laughing and loving which meant they could only muster a mooding, brooding and maunging when we got there . We will go back but with a joyous resolve to make them smile at the joy they bring me serving decent fish, chips and curry sauce ...."

"Award winning fish and chip restaurant and well deserved. Located near to the sea front the restaurant has around 15-20 seats, well spaced so doesn't feel crowded. Very clean with a pleasant atmosphere, good mix of locals and tourists. On our visit I had cod, chips and mushy peas, cooked and presented perfectly, crispy batter on the fish and lovely, tasty flaky cod, the chips were very tasty and not overcooked, the mushy peas were very tasty. Very reasonably priced. Polite service, would have been a five star review had it not been for two tables getting served before us even though we arrived before them so I had to ask to be served. Overall an extremely enjoyable meal and experience, highly recommended and I would return."

"If I could give it 4 and a half stars I would. Batter nice and crispy and fish was fresh and delicious. The let down for the food was the chips. They were lukewarm and weren’t crispy whatsoever but they had an adequate taste. Slightly overpriced for what it was. The restaurant was quite small, but it was fine. The service was great. Fish and chips only took a few minutes to arrive."
